“For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen. Speech has allowed the communication of ideas, enabling human beings to work together to build the impossible. Mankind’s greatest achievements have come about by talking, and its greatest failures by not talking. It doesn’t have to be like this. Our greatest hopes could become reality in the future. With the technology at our disposal, the possibilities are unbounded. All we need to do is make sure we keep talking.”
If you want to use content from this blog contact me in advance. My name is Ellinor Bolt and I am a Swedish student studying pedagogy and design at Konstfack university and literature at Stockholm University. I have studied one year at Swinburne University where I picked the subjects architecture, design and politics. In my blog I have posted a mix of paintings, projects, thought processes and things I found inspiring within the different fields. My free time I spend on the back of an Icelandic horse or reading. In my past I have been working with horses in Norway, Iceland and northern Sweden. I have also worked at the Swedish museum of natural history and the Swedish Royal Court.
